A bit compact, but still quite juicy, with briary black cherry, plum skin and sweet spice notes. Just a touch clamped on the finish, but should flesh out enough. James Molesworth, winespectator.com

The 2010 Cours d'Argent is 100% Merlot, bottled unfined and unfiltered, which is unusual at this price point and level of Bordeaux. It tips the scales at 13.5% alcohol, so it is obviously made from ripe fruit. Dense ruby with notes of berry fruit, some sweet herbs and white chocolate, this heady, straightforward wine should drink nicely for another several years.||It is an exclusive of Jeffrey M. Davies- Signature Selections. Wine Advocate.February, 2013
