Smoke, white flowers and truffle on the musky, inviting nose. Suave, sweet and penetrating, with lovely floral lift and lemony acidity giving the fruit a light touch. Not the fattest of these 2005s, but this is juicy and quite fine. Boudot owns two parcels in the top part of this premier cru vineyard.

Distinctly "uphill" nose of peach, minerals and acacia flower. Juicy, penetrating and firmly built, with nicely delineated citrus, floral and mineral flavors. Perhaps less sophisticated and less concentrated than the Truffieres, but not at all an alcoholic style of 2005. Boudot finds this a bit simple today.
