A traditional style of Bordeaux red with restraint and cedarbox and tobacco notes. The wine has good mid palate fruit but it is not a complex style. Well balance and ready to enjoy young. asianpalate.com

Quite ripe Cabernet-Merlot fruit, quite elegant and nice balance. Drink 2014-19. Steven Spurrier, decanter.com

The Peyrabon has good definition on the nose with black cherries, cassis and a touch of blueberry. The palate is medium-bodied, chewy on the entry but cohesive, very good weight with blackberry and blueberry fruit, but needing to develop a little more definition towards the finish. Fine. Tasted April 2011. Neal Martin erobertparker.com

Thick and sweet and beguiling. Chewy start, may deliver. No customer could object since this is classic old-fashioned claret. jancisrobinson.com
