2006 Citran

Sweet and round and with lots of ripe fruit. Good balance and juiciness. Well done! Lively for early drinking. [blind] Mid crimson, not desperately concentrated colour. Low-key but well balanced slightly timid nose. Nothing in excess. Mild, mellifluous, the quite light fruit only just supports the oak – I’d like to have seen just a little more concentration in this wine though it should make perfectly acceptable lunchtime claret!
