Tasting notes
Tasted blind at the Southwold 2012 tasting. The 2012 Clos Floridène Blanc has a respectable, chalk and lemon zest nose, a touch of peach in the background lending more complexity. The palate is well balanced with traces of lemon and orange rind, quite linear with a marine-influenced, Muscadet-like finish. This delicious white Bordeaux, one of the best values around, will drink supremely well over the next decade or so. Tasted January 2016.
