Wild aromas of menthol, anise and medicinal herbs; very Pernand. Then dense, quite dry and energetic, with flavors of apple, anise, minerals and earth. A rather extreme style that's all about soil, not primary fruit. But the energy and minerality of this wine are impressive. Needs patience.
