Score 94/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound, Nov 2002

Fantastically rich, wondrously delineated white flower and spice aromas intermingle with driving, penetrating, remarkably intense, steely, razor-sharp flavors that stain and complete saturate the palate. This is exceptionally complex with so much sève and power that it's difficult to understand how such a wine can remain a model of refinement, harmony and elegance. The finish is brimming with minerality and while the acidity is powerful, it is perfectly integrated. A great effort that should age gracefully for at least a decade.
