Good pale color. Apple and spice on the nose; quite stony compared to the Meursault samples. The largest-scaled by far of these 2003s but with a lovely light touch and noteworthy inner-mouth energy. Rich but rather elegantly styled, with a clean, building finish. .

Resiny minerals are found in the nose of the 2003 Corton-Charlemagne (white). This fleshy wine displays impressive depth, balance, and length. Its flavor profile, dominated by herbs, minerals, and stones, is silky-textured and expressive. Projected maturity: now-2015. Importer: Wilson-Daniels, St. Helena, CA; tel. (707) 963-9661
