Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2010
Pale color. Captivating high-pitched aromas of ginger, mace, lavender, violet and stone. At once sweet and backward, with a penetrating quality and terrific energy to its concentrated flavors of spices, flowers and saline minerality. Plenty of texture here, but this one stands out today for its tightly coiled spine.
