Tasting notes
Dark ruby. Extremely sweet and opulent. Thick and sweet and gamey and developed. Thick. Heavy. Great for people who are just looking for mass. (JR)

Light bottle deposit. Mid ruby. Lots of evolution at the rim. Rich, sweet and jammy on the nose. Then rusty nails and some underripe fruit. Not a very comfortable whole with a pretty astringent finish. Very awkward. (JR)
Bright crimson. Lively and light with some dancing quality. Very fragrant and mellifluous. Nice drink now. Neat finish. (JR)
Thick and sweet and supple but still a strong green acid streak. (JR)
About the producer

With Ronan Laborde at the helm, this property has become one of Pomerol’s most sought-after. He has increased the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which historically represented half the vineyard area here.
