Score 87/100 · Robert Parker
This property is fashioning reasonably priced, rich, concentrated, lavishly oaked wines. The 1992 is one of the top successes for the vintage. The color is an impressive dark ruby, and the nose offers up scents of smoky, toasty new oak accompanied by surprisingly rich, blackcurrant fruit scents. Medium-bodied, concentrated, and soft, with a mid-palate of ripe fruit, this sweet, sexy example of the vintage should drink well for 7-10 years. Dec 1994, www.robertparker.com
