Score 72/100 · Drink 1982, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
Moderately intense jammy fruit suggests an overripe character on the palate. The wine is soft, with low acidity, and a diluted, thin finish. Drink up! Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 5/82.

About the producer

Ormes de Pez
The Cazes family – owners of Lynch-Bages – added this Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois estate to their portfolio in 1940, just one year after they purchased Lynch-Bages. The property comprises 32 hectares of vines in the north of the appellation, close to the village of Pez.
