Real personality. Lots of herbs on the nose. Relatively low acidity. More of a smudge than a liquid. Easy drinking in a wine bar? Fast fade. (JR)

Bright yellow. Pungent aromas and flavors of pear skin, apricot and citrus marmalade. A note of honey adds depth to the long, slightly warm finish. I'd have guessed that this rich wine came from 2009.

This small, high quality producer has fashioned a beautiful 2010 St.-Peray Les Pins. Lots of crushed rock, honeyed grapefruit and citrus oil notes are present in this medium-bodied, refreshing, zesty, dry white wine. It represents the northern Rhone’s answer to a top Chablis. (Not yet released) No known American importer.
