Score 91/100 · Drink 2001-2027, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2022

Offering superb drinking today, the 1991 Roc de Cambes is a medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless wine evocative of dark berry fruit, forest floor and black truffles. Less hulking and muscular than the 1989 drunk alongside, it's elegant but intensely flavored, concluding with a long, sapid finish.

Two moderately successful wines were produced by Roc des Combes in 1991 and 1992. The 1991 exhibits a medium ruby color, ripe, berry aromas, light to medium body, soft tannin, and a smooth finish. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. Wine Advocate.February, 1994
