Score 78/100 · Drink 2015-2021, Robert Parker, Jun 2015
The 2005 Clauzet is a relatively austere, angular, tannic wine that lacks fruit and comes across as hard and ungenerous. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

Score 15/20 · Drink 2015-2022, Jancis Robinson MW, Apr 2006
Very dark blackish crimson. Neat, savoury, rather dashing nose. Still a bit of oak on the nose. Very sweet palate attack and rather deadened by the oak. Not eloquent. Jagged. Obviously some good raw ingredients though. (JR)
