Tasting notes
The 2001 Granato is a selection of the estate’s best grapes, aged in oak barrels, and is full, plumy, and spicy on the nose. The sweet flavors, sizeable structure, and significant length and texture indicate a good ten years of life ahead. The 2000 version of this wine was larger-framed and more voluminous, but the elegance of this 2001 is quite winning as well.
