Tasting notes
The still youthfully colored 2008 Clos Dubreuil takes some time to open but is certainly impressive. With some obvious oak influence, loads of dark fruits, chocolate, and earthy aromatics, it’s medium to full-bodied and shows the classic, focused style of the vintage yet still packs some serious fruit. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

The whopping 2008 boasts stunning aromatics of soy sauce, balsamic, blackberry liqueur, licorice and graphite. Rich, full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, this hedonistic fruit bomb is already drinking well and should continue to do so over the next decade. Very impressive!
Ripe and a little smoky, then much more juicy and fresh on the palate, bright, expressive and spicy. Long, aromatic finish. (JH)
