Tasting notes

Tasting notes
Score 65/100 · Drink 1987, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

The 1976 is now fading and beginning to exhibit considerable brown at the edges. This loosely knit wine lacks firmness, concentration, and structure. The round, pleasant, soft, somewhat flabby, fruity flavors have become more unknit with the passage of time, and the barnyard dirtiness has become more pronounced. Drink it up. Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 11/87.
