Dark crimson. Lightly vegetal on the nose. Then simple and sweet. Very jagged and without much real core of fruit density. (JR)

One of the finest Monbrisons produced in many years, the 2006 is a sleeper of the vintage exhibiting classic floral, black currant, roasted herb, and incense characteristics, medium body, and an attractively textured, supple finish. Enjoy it over the next decade. Good value.

Mid crimson. Basic, unexciting, solid nose. Lots of acidity. Slightly green. (JR)
