2012 D'Arsac

Another sleeper of the vintage, this deep ruby/purple 2012 has round, juicy, endearing blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, a hint of plum, a long, heady mouthfeel, and ripe, well-integrated tannin and wood. This lush, complex, seductive style of wine should drink well for another 7-8 years.

Lots of floral perfume and very sumptuous fruit. This is really nicely done – great flavour definition, and loads of rich, expressive complexity. Smooth and gradual on the palate. Very good. (RH)
