67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot. Not much of the famous Margaux perfume here. Has a certain elegance to the structure, and the fruit is pleasantly dainty, but it doesn’t communicate its terroir with huge amounts of conviction. (RH)
This Cru Bourgeois has a light red berry nose that needs more delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a dark, blackberry entry that seems slightly pinched and overdone, leaving the back end feeling rather mean and shallow. Tasted April 2012. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com
