Made from 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Merlot, this soft, sexy, round and savory wine is about as seductive as one can find among the cru bourgeois. Drinkable now and drinkable in 10 years, this wine has excellent floral-infused black currant fruit with some cherries, licorice and herbs in the background. Fragrant and complex, it is a crowd pleaser. (A member of the Association of Crus Bourgeois du Medoc.)
67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot. Very fragrant and grown up. Luscious. This should not disappoint, unless it is overpriced. (JR)
Dark ruby – very little sign of anything purple. Very sweet and aromatic with a teensy hint of green. There is certainly sweetness here though not great concentration. A bit of a hole on the mid palate. Fades quite fast. (JR)
