Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2008-2015, Pierre Rovani, Feb 2004
The 2002 Meursault Blagny is a winner, and reminiscent of a rich Alsatian Riesling. Flowers, spices, liquid minerals, and an almost petrol-like characteristic can be found in its rich, expressive aromas. Thick, sporting outstanding purity and a sappy, fleshy personality, this syrupy, mineral-dominated wine is detailed and long. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015.
