Score 95/100 · Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Feb 2008
A mere 6 barrels were made of the 2006 Clos d’Agon Blanco, a blend of 46% Viognier, 36% Roussanne, and 18% Marsanne. Medium straw-colored, it presents a complex, alluring bouquet of spring flowers, candle wax, honey, melon, and exotic tropical fruits. Smooth-textured, compellingly flavored, intense, and very long, this splendid effort may well evolve for several years but iron discipline will be required to keep hands off.
