Score 93/100 · Drink 2018-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2019
The last ever rendition of this cuvée from Jacquesson, the 2002 Brut Millésime is aging well, offering up aromas of waxy citrus fruit, confit lemon, clear honey, walnut, dried flowers and honeyed pears. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a broad attack and a fleshy core, with chalky structuring phenolics. This represents the end of an era for Jacquesson.

Quite open and evolved yet very delicate fruit too. Wild and fragile with what seems like quite a bit of oak influence. Superior champagne. (JR)
