Score 90+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Pale, green-tinged color. Complex nose combines truffle, butterscotch, resiny oak, licorice, lime, pineapple, powdered stone and coconut. Thick with extract, almost to the point of heaviness, but uncompromisingly dry and very unevolved. Firmly structured, but with no rough edges. Finishes with subtle length and a brisk note of lime. A very distinctive wine that really clings to the palate.
