The 1994 is a dense, ripe, chewy, medium to full-bodied St.-Emilion with plenty of pure black-cherry fruit intermingled with scents of Provencal herbs, olives, and toasty oak. This low acid, ripe claret is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years. Last tasted 3/96

Very good color for the vintage. Spicy oak currently dominates black cherry on the nose Muscular and ripe; going through a rather tough stage at present, but has good flavor. This will need time to open.
