This wine seems to have some serious concentration and power in reserve, but has yet to strut its true personality. Judgment will probably be better made with another year or two of bottle age. Somewhat muddled when tasted from bottle, this wine has not yet completely formed itself into a harmonious blend. Speaking of the blend, it is 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon from very low yields, with a final natural alcohol level of 15%.

Plenty of fruit and vitality but rapier-like acidity suggested the malolactic not fully complete. Could be worth a higher note. Drink 2015-2022. James Lawther, decanter.com

Very primal, showing ebullient cherry and damson plum notes, with a bright, floral finish. Stylish and pure, if a touch shy on density in the end. James Molesworth, winespectator.com
