Lustrous dark ruby with some evolution. Very mature nose. Fruit on the way down. A bit effete. May have been better a few years ago? (JR)

Coffee and overripe fruit notes. Better on the palate. Rounded though still firm tannins, much fresher fruit, though there is a slight bitterness on the finish. (JH)

Black! Savoury/toasty nose and relatively ‘cool’ on the palate. By no means a sweet flatterer. Quite a dry finish but very competently made. Positive and quite assertive. Long and positive. (JR)
