There are not many top properties in the Cotes de Francs, but this is a strong effort from that appellation. A sleeper of the vintage, this elegant, fruit-driven, medium-bodied 2011 displays notes of ink, blueberries, raspberries and cherries. With good substance, fresh acids and ripe tannin, this stylish, convincing Cotes de Francs should drink well for 7-8 years.
This has a very good texture to it with soft wtih silky tannins and a juicy finish. Well done for the vintage. James Suckling, jamessuckling.com
