White flowers, hazelnut and oak spices on the nose. Sweet and silky; a bit lower-toned and thicker than son Bruno's example. Plenty fat but a bit lacking in treble notes. This was aged in 50% new oak, and one feels the wood today.

Cool aromas of white flowers, spices and menthol. Juicy and lively, with high-pitched flavors of citrus fruits and flowers sweetened by oak. From an older barrique: Fresh but a bit lean, with slightly edgy lemony acidity. Offers good texture and intensity.
