Score 88/100 · Drink 2007-2015, Robert Parker, Feb 2007

Perrin has turned out very fine 2004s with the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape exhibiting notes of roasted herbs, new saddle leather, sweet berries (especially cherries), medium to full body, as well as elegance and freshness. It is a lovely wine already drinking well and should evolve nicely for 7-8 years. arious importers including T. Edward Wines, New York, NY; tel. Light red. Highly perfumed nose offers vibrant strawberry, lavender, rose and honey. Clean, sweet and spicy, with wonderfully bright raspberry and strawberry flavors, fine tannins and an explosively pure finish. An elegant, utterly delicious wine that's drinking well now.

Medium red color. Spicy, pungent aromas of raspberry, rhubarb and pomegranate. Fresh and lively in the mouth, with tangy red berry fruit complemented by an attractive note of white pepper. Elegant and silky on the long, bright finish.
