Tasting notes
Aromas of ripe peach, orange and spices. Fruity and fresh, with excellent cut to the flavors of peach, ripe citrus fruits and minerals. In its purity and minerality, this is classic Puligny in style. Jacques Carillon noted that his 2004s took on more fat after November of '05. Before that, he said, the wines were strict and austere. Finishes with firm minerality and lovely acid cut.

Very correct and well etched. Lots of acidity and enough substance, though no excess of the latter. Quite aggressive at this stage. (JR)
Pale color. Perfumed aromas of ginger, rose petal and baking spices. Dense, chewy and dry, with complex flavors of minerals, crushed stone and exotic spices. Some CO2 is keeping this quite brisk today. Finishes with very good cut and length.
