Score 85-87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Good ruby-red. Primary, grapey aroma of currant, plum, tobacco, mint and spice. Fruity and spicy in the mouth, with a restrained sweetness and a faint menthol nuance. No shortage of texture.
