Quite lean and lemony on the nose; sleek and suave on the palate. Insinuating, rather than bludgeoning. (JR)
Pale color. Precise, high-pitched aromas of minerals, green apple and spearmint, with complicating notes of smoke and wet stone. Big and rich but quite dry, with youthfully unevolved flavors of pineapple and minerals. Very long and powerful on the finish, almost aggressive today, with a strong flavor of liquid stone. This will reward a decade of patience.
