Score 90-92/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound
The most refined of this group of Beaune 1ers with the most aromatic complexity as well to the beautiful blend of red, black and violet notes that introduce rich, suave and velvety medium full flavors that are classy, powerful and vibrant. This is a bigger and bolder wine than the Boucherottes but the balance and purity of the former holds its own with the size and weight of the Ursules. A stylistic choice.
