Score 91/100 · Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2013
Dried red cherries, savory herbs, mint, anise and leather meld together in a striking, nuanced Barolo long on class and pedigree. A model of total class and elegance, the 2003 has stood the test of time quite well. Any remaining bottles should be enjoyed over the next decade. This is an impeccable wine from Bruno Giacosa and his long-time winemaker Dante Scaglione.
