Score 88/100 · Drink 2001-2012, Robert Parker, Apr 2001
Sweet, ripe raspberry and cherry fruit, good flesh, medium body, and an excellent texture result in a delicious Canon-Fronsac to enjoy over the next 10-12 years. Although this wine is clearly excellent, I had high hopes it would turn out to be outstanding. It does not appear to be as rich and complex after bottling. Nevertheless, it remains a sleeper of the vintage. Anticipated maturity: now-2012.
