Score 87/100 · Drink 2004-2011, Robert Parker, Jun 2004
Although lighter than usual, this is an elegant St.-Emilion offering resiny/pine forest notes intermixed with red and black currants, and spice. Round, sweet, and precocious La Fleur de Jaugue always represents good value. The savory, medium-bodied 2001 will provide delicious drinking now and over the next 6-7 years.

Lots of grip and freshness. Very chewy. Cool. (JR)
