Score 87/100 · Drink 1997-2005, Robert Parker, Apr 1997
The deep ruby-colored 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon Thomas Hardy exhibits a leafy, earthy, tobacco-scented nose, less body and richness than the Shiraz, but plenty of power and intensity. There is good glycerin, high extract, and that aggressive, unmistakable American oak character. It should drink well for 7-8 years. Importer: International Cellars, Chantilly, VA; no telephone listing available
