Spicy, cedary aroma, a little reductive. Creamy oak aroma. Definite cedar character on the palate. Good depth of fruit. Direct and long. There's plenty of fruit in the middle. Savoury, finely dry. Just that woody/cedar character a little too prominent?

22% Sauvignon Blanc, 78% Sémillon, the latter suffered more than the former in the hot, dry spring. Ripe and creamy on the nose. Very full and rich across the palate, lots of spice and weight and just enough freshness, so spicy on the finish. (JH)
