Tasting notes
Light yellow. Intense citrus, pear, mineral and floral honey aromas, with a hint of baking spices. Full and ripe but also focused, with pure citrus and orchard fruit flavors brightened by tangy mineral notes and deepened by a suggestion of sweet butter. The zesty finish boasts impressive depth and length. I've had 20-year-old versions of this wine that were remarkably fresh and complex.

Intriguing scents of ginger, flowers, pear, snap pea and white tobacco. Then leanish and uncompromising, with strong mineral flavors of grapefruit, ginger and crushed stone. I find this less ripe and round than usual for this cuvee Long, slightly earthy finish. Hardly destined to be a crowd-pleaser, but intriguing.
