Tasting notes
Transparent and rusty and lots of life and alcohol – not fine or concentrated but good stuff. Lots of tannin. Treacle. (JR)

105g/l RS, 4.9g/l TA. Dense blackberries and cherry, smooth tannins, spicy and round with fresh milk chocolate and coffee highlights. (RH)
Intensely sweet rich damson fruit on the nose. Blueberry pie. Same on the palate – soft and deep pile richness of dark fruit. A wine to sink into. Alcohol well hidden. Smooth dark chocolate finish. (JH)
Good deep ruby. Perfumed, floral aromas of dark chocolate, prune, vanillin oak and game. Medium-sweet and moderately dense, with nicely delineated but somewhat baked flavors. Slightly spirity finish features good sweet fruit.
