Score 87/100 · Drink 2014-2018, Robert Parker, Aug 2014
The fully mature 2003 La Dauphine exhibits supple tannins as well as sweet plum, black cherry and foresty characteristics. With a light pink color and no signs of oxidation, at age eleven it remains a vibrant red wine. Kudos to the relatively new proprietor at that time, Jean Halley. It should drink well for 2-4 more years.

Healthy crimson. Rich and fruity and a little simple. Could do with slightly more of a dry spine but certainly an easy, early drink. (JR)
