Gamey, sweet, jewelly. Dense. Dry finish, and pretty austere. (JR)

This is a sexy, soft, round wine with notes of sweet red and black fruits intermixed with hints of truffle, tobacco leaf, and spice. Medium to full-bodied with sweet fruit and a savory mouthfeel in an up-front, forward style, this wine needs 2-3 years of cellaring and should drink up to 15 years or more.

A Jean-Pierre Moueix wine. Bright crimson. Rather simple red fruit aromas so far. Very fine tannins. Rather a relaxed style of wine – even languid. Just easing itself on to the palate. Bit of a lounge lizard and could be hugely enjoyable. (JR)
