Tasting notes
High-pitched aromas of lemon, lime and chalk. Juicy, intensely flavored and highly perfumed in the mouth, with its richness nicely cut by rocky minerality. This boasts terrific balance and impressive persistence. These are Javillier's highest-altitude vines, planted on a site with very thin topsoil. Perhaps the best Tillets Javillier has made to date-and an extraordinary village Meursault. The vines here range from 30 to 75 years of age.

Perfumed aromas of powdered stone and lime. The aromatic lime flavor offers lovely energy, intensity and lift, but this also boasts good density and a rich texture. Finishes with dusty citrus zest and stone. Long on personality. Use the Puligny as an aperitif and serve these Meursaults with food, suggests Javillier.
