Score 96/100 · Robert Parker
There are 312 cases of the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Helms Vineyard, which has put on considerable weight since last year. Its dense purple color is accompanied by a glorious nose of dusty, loamy soil notes intermixed with black raspberry, black currant, camphor and subtle spicy oak. Deep, rich and full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long finish, it should drink well for 20-25 years. Dec 2010, www.robertparker.com
