(two of seven barrels are new) Reticent nose suggests crystallized orange peel. Then riper and larger-scaled on entry than the Tete du Clos, showing less obvious minerality and a continuing orange flavor. Dry, broad and classic wine, with its pungent minerality arriving only on the back end.
