Tasting notes
Score 93+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2007

Pale yellow. Reticent nose hints at lemon and crushed rock. Sappy entry of citrus peel and stone. Savory and classically dry in the middle palate, coating the entire mouth with dusty stone. A compellingly tactile wine whose ripe fruit prevents it from coming off as hard. Finishes with the building length and palate-saturating intensity of a grand cru. But this will need extended aging and should be long-lived.

Green-tinged color. Reticent nose hints at lime. Rich, chewy and tactile, conveying a solid impression and a slight saline quality. Fresh citrus flavors are quite youthful. Finishes long and firm. (I'll hold off on reviewing Morey's Batard-Montrachet as the wine was at the end of its malolactic fermentation.)
