Score 88+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Deep ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of blackberry, minerals, game, violet and woodsmoke. Quite tight on the palate, with its dark berry and pepper flavors complemented by mineral, oak and mint notes. Firmly structured and rather tannic today. Needs time in bottle.
